Support the ROMAC and Women's History Month

The Robert O’Neal Multicultural Art Center (ROMAC), in collaboration with The African American Chamber of Commerce, proudly presents “Her Story Unveiled,” a celebratory event for Women’s History Month. This special occasion honors and showcases African American women’s profound history and contributions across diverse fields.

Event Schedule:
10:30 AM: Focused & Flourishing Fireside Chat
11:30 AM: Focused & Flourishing Mentor Brunch
1:30 PM: Her Marketplace, Headshots, & Happy Hour – Ticket: $21

The morning and afternoon sessions will commence with a Fireside Chat featuring leading women figures, followed by a business networking brunch. The event will also include a marketplace, providing a platform for local women entrepreneurs to display their businesses. The afternoon concludes with a cocktail reception highlighting the success stories of these remarkable women.

5:30 PM: Fire Her Story Exhibition & Cocktail Reception
6:15 PM: Fire Her Story Concert – Tickets: $35 General Admission

The evening segment offers “The Fire HerStory” Exhibit and Concert, promising a night of memorable performances by African American women artists. The performances will span jazz, blues, R&B, and hip-hop. “FIRE: Herstory,” initiated in the spring of 2021, celebrates Black visual and performing women artists, focusing on their strength, diversity, and the impactful stories they share. The 2024 edition aims to continue this legacy by emphasizing the importance of personal narratives in inspiring future generations. The concept of fire represents the intense passion, hope, empowerment, and truth that characterize the experiences of Black women, exploring themes of love, survival, beauty, sisterhood, and self-worth.

VIP Ticket for Both Experience Day & Evening 10:00 am – 8:30 pm: $60
The event is supported by Verizon, 3CDC, The Noir Collective, Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, and ArtsWave, ensuring a robust and unforgettable celebration. Tickets are available for individual segments or as a VIP package for an all-inclusive experience.
